ESSENCE :: COTTONWOODGather in the Hudson Valley for an in-person essence proving circle. Together, we’ll attune to and explore one flower or tree essence over the course of a month — deepening our relationship with it, opening our senses, and connecting in community. This is a slow, contemplative space where we journey together with intention and receptivity.
In exchange for sharing your findings, you’ll receive a complimentary 1oz bottle of Cottonwood tree essence, support during our opening and closing ceremonies, and ongoing guidance throughout the month for any questions or reflections that arise.
Ceremony Details
⚘ Opening Ceremony: October 18 · 10–11 AM
⚘ Closing Ceremony: November 22 · 10–11 AM
⚘ Location: Hudson Valley, NY (Rosendale–Catskill area)
⚘ Specific address will be emailed after sign-up.
Participant Requirements
⚘ Commit to taking the essence 2–4x per day throughout the month.
⚘ Be comfortable hiking up to a half mile in forest terrain (site is not ADA compliant).
⚘ Bring a notebook and pen for reflection and note-taking.
Additional Information
⚘ Essences are made with a base of brandy and spring water; Other bases are not available at this time.
⚘ We will gather outdoors, seated on grass or the forest floor — please dress warmly, wear sturdy shoes, and bring blankets or anything you need for comfort.
⚘ Circle is limited to 10 participants to preserve intimacy and space for sharing.
⚘ Sign-up closes at 11:59 PM on Wednesday, October 15th.
